Drone Service Academy
From agricultural drone knowledge to practical skills.
DJI Agras operation, flight planning and preparation for field tasks — through theory and instructor-supervised practice.

From theory to confident practice
Safe, effective work is at the heart of the learning process. Understanding how the drone works, planning a task in advance and acting deliberately form the foundation of practical skill. Classroom knowledge is reinforced with real equipment and field exercises.
Who is it for?
Newcomers
For those who want to discover agricultural drones and learn the fundamentals of operation step by step.
Agricultural drone operators
For those who want to organise their existing knowledge and strengthen safety and mission-planning skills.
Farm and agricultural teams
For teams who want to understand the process of using drones in field operations.
What will you learn?
Open each module to explore the content of the lessons.
01Flight theory
Controller functions, flight modes and the principles of drone movement. Understanding commands and choosing the right control approach for the situation.
- Identify the controls and understand their functions.
- Understand flight modes, direction of travel and aircraft orientation.
02Preparation and activation
Getting ready for work begins with understanding the drone’s components. Lessons cover assembly, connections and initial setup.
- Become familiar with the drone, controller, battery and main modules.
- Learn the sequence of activation and preparation before a flight.
03Flight safety
Pre-flight checks, assessment of the working area and operator responsibility receive particular attention. Understanding abnormal situations supports safer decision-making.
- Consider aircraft condition, terrain, obstacles and people nearby.
- Understand the principles of responding to abnormal situations under instructor guidance.
04Field mapping and automatic missions
Defining field boundaries and selecting an appropriate route are the basis of automatic flight. Planning is explained using the Plots and Route modes.
- Mark field boundaries and the working area on the map.
- Create an automatic mission and check it before launch.
05Practical flight exercises
Controls learned in theory are applied in instructor-supervised exercises. Lessons cover manual and automatic flight, spraying and spreading systems.
- Practise take-off, directional control and landing.
- Understand task-appropriate system settings and monitor the mission.
06Agricultural applications and field practice
Work with cotton, rice and other crops is considered in the context of field conditions and the task. Application rates are discussed within the approved instructions for the materials being used.
- Understand the relationship between the crop, the field and the work to be carried out.
- Plan field operations and review a completed task.
07Knowledge and skills assessment
The programme concludes with an assessment of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This helps revisit the topics learned and identify areas that need further practice.
- Reinforce key topics through a theory test.
- Demonstrate preparation and control skills in practical tasks.
